However, this is definitely not just about crafts any more. It really is about what Tiffany Did. So with that said...I did discover Influenster!</p>
<p dir="ltr">I love this program. I love trying new products I receive for free, giving my honest opinions, and telling others about them. Thus, it is perfect for me!</p>
<p dir="ltr">This is a picture of my Resolution Vox Box. I haven't tried all the products yet, but I am working on it. I have used the Orabrush. I liked it because you never really give much thought to a product specifically designed for your tongue. But, why not, right? I mean, we all know to brush our tongues, so why not clean it even more. I am slightly concerned about the hygiene portion of keeping the brush itself clean, so I may need to do more research into that. I guess, although, it may be silly, to me the toothpaste kind of helps to keep the toothbrush clean. However, you don't have that with the Orabrush.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Like I mentioned, I haven't tried all my products yet, but I will keep you posted as I do. Here is my referral link if you are interested in signing up for Influenster yourself www.influenster.com/r/1929010 </p>
<p dir="ltr">Thanks for stopping by!</p>

Seriously, I LOVE volunteering at my children's school, but sometimes I feel like I am way more busy than I would be if I had a paying job. The funny thing is that I have projects for school right now that involve being crafty, but it just doesn't feel the same. I need some free craft time; not to mention I have bow orders waiting to be completed. The problem is that there is only one table I work off of in my craft room since it also doubles as a guest room, which means one project must be completed before the next one is started. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, back to the reason we are here!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is actually one project that I did get a chance to complete.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqmQpRnKEP7rcUKsp0UuejT4r8jHGYDzWZP_vGRwDkHsnG8JO_xvBEITvtn-kibUoytGTcpOEX-6uErvI7vYIDvOwwgCPdhUquSZ_ahhVJQvmx4gaGFScEIE30aw5OPdEeRYAkXAlLj1Ka/s1600/Valentine.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqmQpRnKEP7rcUKsp0UuejT4r8jHGYDzWZP_vGRwDkHsnG8JO_xvBEITvtn-kibUoytGTcpOEX-6uErvI7vYIDvOwwgCPdhUquSZ_ahhVJQvmx4gaGFScEIE30aw5OPdEeRYAkXAlLj1Ka/s1600/Valentine.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know the picture is horrible!! My phone did this major update and now my picture settings are completely out of sorts. Not really sure where the changes were made at, so I have not been able to correct the issue yet. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, this card is my Design Team Card for <a href="http://melonheadzfriends.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Melonheadz Friends' Valentine Challenge</a>. This cute piggy was an old digistamp from Nikki over at Melonheadz that I have had for a very long time. I was just looking or something other than the traditional heart/lovey Valentine. Plus, I am so cheesy! I love to come up with play on words. Of course, this saying was not my own, but it works nonetheless! The other bonus is that, again, all the supplies came from my scrap drawers. For example, I know the heart vellum is at least six years old because it is left over from when I made wedding announcements for my brother and his wife. Bonus, I printed the saying out on my new printer!! It arrived Wednesday, this past week, and Sean hooked it right up for me! Let me just say, I am loving this whole wireless printing feature!! It is not even that I am printing from places all over the house; no, I am sitting right next to my printer. I just get overwhelmed with clutter (especially in my craft space), so one less wire hanging down, is FABULOUS!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay, enough rambling for today. I promise I am going to try to post some of the 100th Day of School projects I completed to take with us to school today. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Plus, I have a few more things waiting to make an appearance here on my blog! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping in :)</div>

Hello!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today, I am going to share the card I made for the new challenge over at <a href="http://melonheadzfriends.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Melonheaz Friends</a>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope you will pop over and join the challenge and look at the great things the newest members of the design team came up with.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5Y5yU5X4QMWsepSBDzt3ZAZD6GnjwK7EfKZcuym6dlid62hXyaYz2y-4_pyOX2FLobwE_FPtpOzIq_tzyYoTLQHeUAoipLcuEg-L_wbpdCgkD5xWr1bYFBJtsmayfULlBFQEo-axsu_F5/s1600/winter+fun.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5Y5yU5X4QMWsepSBDzt3ZAZD6GnjwK7EfKZcuym6dlid62hXyaYz2y-4_pyOX2FLobwE_FPtpOzIq_tzyYoTLQHeUAoipLcuEg-L_wbpdCgkD5xWr1bYFBJtsmayfULlBFQEo-axsu_F5/s1600/winter+fun.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am actually very impressed with the way this turned out because everything about this card was found in my stash. After eight or so years, my printer decided to stop working. Luckily, I had printed this cute little guy at some point as to not waste space while printing other digistamps. All the supplies were found in my scraps pile; all out of the black drawer at that. Of course, since the printer has stopped, I turned to my sticker stash for a sentiment to add this card.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay, now I am off to spend some time researching new printers!!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by :0)</div>

Hello Everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I always start by saying I know it has been awhile...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
SO, let me just tell you why it has been awhile. It is hard to craft when my craft table is filled with ribbon, hair clips, bottle caps, and anything else that goes into making my hair bows. That has been what has been keeping me busy. I did a craft show this past Saturday, and I have one again this Saturday. Then I WILL BE paper crafting. However, until then here is the card I have to share with you to go along with the new challenge starting over at the<a href="http://melonheadzfriends.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"> Melonheadz Friends blog.</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This week's challenge is all about Christmas. Be sure to go check it out!!</div>

Good Morning All!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know it has been awhile yet again since I have posted anything. It is amazing to me how much time I think I am going to have for crafting, but it never works out that way. I can't complain because I love the time I get to spend volunteering at the kid's school. Plus, another major time consumer right now has been my bows. I have had LOTS order for them recently. Plus, I am getting ready to do another craft show. I did two events a few weeks back and sold out of all my bows except for about five, and I started with about 60 or so. Not too shabby :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, onto my big news....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBWPinlucbRafNl4YvFgVkBI88MrugrxtbNOFtGxMpinp4K9JrliJWoa5V4YbXQrARg1CFWzUXrXBrIRIEFTRaSf7AzYczcbJ5RSTwKbgbwOcqQCIx6pIrKr7Bhbx7y6hyphenhyphendQVwCBE0DWJ_/s1600/dt+button+brown+hair.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="268" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBWPinlucbRafNl4YvFgVkBI88MrugrxtbNOFtGxMpinp4K9JrliJWoa5V4YbXQrARg1CFWzUXrXBrIRIEFTRaSf7AzYczcbJ5RSTwKbgbwOcqQCIx6pIrKr7Bhbx7y6hyphenhyphendQVwCBE0DWJ_/s320/dt+button+brown+hair.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am SOOOOO excited! I can't even tell you. Not to mention, she is ABSOLUTELY one of my most favorite digistamp creators!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So here is my first card as a new design team member.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfEIeCVO-5brpUoN9Uzg_PWsUBzYk1aRSElMvoDeGIhdcTMNJ4FEdCaBUljm6i7RIgkL2J2PlIgRpTyyqTwAJdPZDl8yEFGCKxYbosawF5uXDcSSEAiDUh8NPi4pf76kbHn2l97Y_grtc_/s1600/Melonheadz+Fall+Colors+Nov+25.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfEIeCVO-5brpUoN9Uzg_PWsUBzYk1aRSElMvoDeGIhdcTMNJ4FEdCaBUljm6i7RIgkL2J2PlIgRpTyyqTwAJdPZDl8yEFGCKxYbosawF5uXDcSSEAiDUh8NPi4pf76kbHn2l97Y_grtc_/s320/Melonheadz+Fall+Colors+Nov+25.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is a free digi I got a few years back, but I thought it would be perfect for this time of the year and the<a href="http://melonheadzfriends.blogspot.com/2013/11/fall-colors-challenge.html" target="_blank"> Fall Colors Challenge</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pop over and take a shot at the challenge!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for sharing in my excitement :)</div>
Tiffany Did...http://www.blogger.com/profile/14666421456561605427noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862474266295257977.post-10080227367820957862013-10-17T05:17:00.000-04:002013-10-17T05:17:22.741-04:00Put a Bow on It!<div style="text-align: center;">
Not sure if I have every shared that "Put a Bow on It!" was what I originally planned to name my bow business, but when I searched Facebook in order to create my page, I realized that there were several versions of that already in use. Thus, I came up with "Let's Hear It for the Bows!" I do tend to get a lot of encouraging compliments on my name, though, so I think it turned out the way it was supposed to. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today, I have a few recent special order bows to share with you. These all start with 1.5" gross grain ribbon as the base. It is my favorite, and in my opinion the easiest to work with. It allows me to make several different sizes of bows, which is best since not everyone likes the huge bows Amelia tends to wear.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love using buttons as a way to fancy up the centers of my bows. Gives it just a little something else. Another thing I found today, was a multi-crafting blog that is having a challenge requiring the use of buttons. Not sure, if hair bows are exactly what they had in mind, but I thought I would give it a shot anyway. The blog is <a href="http://rubysrainbow.blogspot.com/2013/10/ch65-button-it.html" target="_blank">Ruby's Rainbow</a> and it is challenge #65.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Also, thanks for looking and here is the link to my<a href="https://www.facebook.com/LetsHearItForTheBows?ref=br_tf" target="_blank"> Facebook</a>. Come look around a bit!</div>

Hello Again!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay, so Book Fair is open today now, but I have a bow order I must get to. Thus, I stayed home this morning to make a bow (and blog). I will be heading to school shortly. So, I will just share quickly the other birthday card (that I made at the last minute) for a little friend of Conner's, who turned six this past weekend.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

I have been on a roll with using up scraps, pieces and extra preprinted digistamps, which is exactly what I did this time, too. Makes me feel resourceful when I do that! I know it is a super easy card. However, since it was for a child, I thought it fit. I think the stamp might be a <a href="http://www.bugaboostamps.com/" target="_blank">Bugaboo stamp</a>, but again, I can't say with certainty. It does, however, meet the requirements for a few challenges!</div>

Well, today is the last day of Book Fair, so maybe my craft room won't feel so lonely after today! I certainly have a few bow orders I have to catch up on before anything else crafty can be done! However, this weekend was another one jammed packed with Birthday Parties. The catch was that this weekend included parties for Conner's friends. He has been waiting for the day when he was one the invited to the birthday parties, and Sissy had to stay home. Needless to say, he started off with a bang!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is the card I made for the party on Sunday. The party was for a girl in his class, who he refers to as his "Super Good Friend". Too cute!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicaehmS4ZbvJtbv8_DnyzwPPfrlvAQrhimUD-rLHBCatzI47QExsmI7paUCOluCa2Z3F3oYgtqIYj5Z6hVhgwczP62q-5k1-u2l82ILUNfTDqBknTjhOoFMG7SoDe6oTI3n6u1aWkg7IB9/s1600/1390809_10202263375049560_1901861030_o.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicaehmS4ZbvJtbv8_DnyzwPPfrlvAQrhimUD-rLHBCatzI47QExsmI7paUCOluCa2Z3F3oYgtqIYj5Z6hVhgwczP62q-5k1-u2l82ILUNfTDqBknTjhOoFMG7SoDe6oTI3n6u1aWkg7IB9/s320/1390809_10202263375049560_1901861030_o.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was totally late in getting this card made, so I headed straight to the scrap drawers and my binder with all of the preprinted Digi Stamps. I never just print one image at a time, so I will load up a page with other images. Even if I don't plan to use it right at the moment, it helps me to be prepared and save time when situations like this come up. However, the bad part is that I can't even tell you where I got the stamp from because it has been printed and sitting for so long! I also took out my notebook where I make note of some of the challenges I may be interested in joining. I knew I had copied down a sketch challenge, so it was a "no-brainer" on what the layout was going to be. Like I said, all of the paper was in my purple scrap drawer. I know that the patterned paper was left over from a mini book I got from Creative Memories YEARS ago! I colored the image with colored pencils, and blended away, to help cover the lines because I colored so fast. Here are the challenges I am submitting it to:</div>

Hello Friends!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know it has been about a week since you have heard anything from me, but school has been crazy. In one week, we had Picture Day and Walk-a-thon, which both required additional prep time and/or follow up time. Now the focus is Book Fair, and I have a few projects to make for that, so I may just be sharing those with you.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today, I am sharing a gift I made for a special teacher.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnWbYHumB0vjC5GigSN1XeygjnbDY_HwIHhjjUI39soaTp__dC1-RcXlGp_B2yFw3s2t8tzyOWjzyFmUKbp9XaHeUeiGKB3ovAiAioxp9K2-l1NlHAdr6CTiP5La0iJEDm9XmRF1ZwTLBx/s1600/20130818_173733.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnWbYHumB0vjC5GigSN1XeygjnbDY_HwIHhjjUI39soaTp__dC1-RcXlGp_B2yFw3s2t8tzyOWjzyFmUKbp9XaHeUeiGKB3ovAiAioxp9K2-l1NlHAdr6CTiP5La0iJEDm9XmRF1ZwTLBx/s320/20130818_173733.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This was a gift for my son's AWESOME kindergarten teacher. She refers to her class as the "Brainy Bunch". I was determined to use rulers for something "different", and this is what I came up with. I hot glued popsicle sticks to the under side to hold all eight rulers together. I then weaved some red and white gingham ribbon through the holes (that are already drilled into the rulers although I have no idea why) and added a blue ribbon in the center hole for use of hanging the board. Our school colors are red, white and blue (if you couldn't guess). I used a few different cartridges for this project. They were Doodlecharms, Locker Talk, and the font from Robotz. I am going to enter this sign in a challenge over at<a href="http://paperplaytime.blogspot.com/2013/09/ch-19-apples.html" target="_blank"> Paper Playtime</a>. Challenge #19 this week is to use apples. It is a good fit, I think!</div>

Morning!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Did you get worried because it has been a few days since I'd posted? Well, no fears! I just had paying customers I had to attend to. Well, that and I have been at school volunteering since Wednesday, so that kind of cuts down on the crafting time. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, back to the projects! Word is getting out a bit about my flip flops, and I have had a few special orders recently that I had to make to get out to people. So that is what I am sharing with you today...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZUHKaEb8mQTopXuoQckN5F5_H9PsE27Rjw2ej57WIOosbkEvo09nOzkhLEEQnsZJAth08Xj70DqQemobYxlkK7bxIppx18KvDr8AFo4vjU9Dw7KWSTT_gpPBARhoYpIt7E8ANiudmaWph/s1600/Jobe+AHS+FF.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZUHKaEb8mQTopXuoQckN5F5_H9PsE27Rjw2ej57WIOosbkEvo09nOzkhLEEQnsZJAth08Xj70DqQemobYxlkK7bxIppx18KvDr8AFo4vjU9Dw7KWSTT_gpPBARhoYpIt7E8ANiudmaWph/s320/Jobe+AHS+FF.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These flip flops are made to match the colors of the local high school, and this is pair two of three current orders I have had for Bloodhound flip flops. All in adult sizes, which I think is awesome! Seriously, I live in Florida, so you will see people in flip flops all year long. Why not be a little different? Why should the little girls get all the fun stuff? This is a creative way to show your school spirit in my opinion, of course!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9LOa0FrhfQ5Hf8VjMFXbfLrw0IptT78TQt67fi87O8XrA6Nolm01aIb8FYQRcHMsNOD9bh5waPd4Wmzzdog0G0YHfpelsCKdHOFvnjokTpB8QMA89uPxFcXG-XGPavtYOLLG4X489UZNU/s1600/Alyson+Birthday.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9LOa0FrhfQ5Hf8VjMFXbfLrw0IptT78TQt67fi87O8XrA6Nolm01aIb8FYQRcHMsNOD9bh5waPd4Wmzzdog0G0YHfpelsCKdHOFvnjokTpB8QMA89uPxFcXG-XGPavtYOLLG4X489UZNU/s320/Alyson+Birthday.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love making theme specific flip flops, but there is also something about the fun, anything goes stye, too. I made this pair for Amelia's friend, which is the birthday party we are going to today. I love giving out my flip flops and hair bows as gifts because you never have to worry that the child we get two of the same item, when it is something made from the heart!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS8as6OggGwsWC4ieRbrXJESQfGsWTVU9x9Hb0IUbEOGGwpVwU_wHkbT4qC73-22cpKF8ZCsTZFPFoo516kt1f2wCWds0ELx8xNfegT8hdnlGKnn0O1Z6LYjIRtifCVkUSk51LHo4yJbUp/s1600/Makayla+Special+Order+FF+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS8as6OggGwsWC4ieRbrXJESQfGsWTVU9x9Hb0IUbEOGGwpVwU_wHkbT4qC73-22cpKF8ZCsTZFPFoo516kt1f2wCWds0ELx8xNfegT8hdnlGKnn0O1Z6LYjIRtifCVkUSk51LHo4yJbUp/s320/Makayla+Special+Order+FF+2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And the last pair I will share with you today, is a special order pair from one of Amelia's favorite friends. Unfortunately, the two don't get to see each other very often because of living so far away, but I love that when they do get back together it is like no time has past at all. The pick up right where they left off! It is too cute, and it makes my heart happy :) Anyway, Makayla is in competitive gymnastics, and this pair matches her leotard. I will be mailing them out to her today.</div>

Okay, this is birthday card 2 of 3. The plan is for this card to go to the birthday girl this weekend. Although, both kids were just invited to another birthday today that will be held Saturday. That party is for a little boy, so this card may work. Must decide!?!?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I honestly cannot even say where this digistamp came from, but I can say I have used it several times. It is such a great "generic" birthday wish. I colored it this time with my Bic Permanent Markers. I have had a ton of baker's twine (I think that is what it is called) for a long time, but have never used it. Good news -- I used all scraps yet again! Another point, this card is perfect for the monthly challenge over at<a href="http://justinspirationalchallenges.blogspot.com/2013/09/new-monthly-challenge.html" target="_blank"> Just Inspirational Challenges.</a> This is the new monthly "Animal with Sentiment" challenge.</div>

There are currently two birthday party invitations hanging on our refrigerators addressed to Amelia. The catch is that the birthday party on the 28th is for a set of twins. This is the first time Amelia will be attending a party as a friend of each sister. Not going to lie, makes preparing for the party and bit interesting. Do you get each girl the same thing, but just slightly different in looks perhaps? Or, do you get them each totally separate/not even similar gifts? I think we have decided on similar gifts, and more posting about that will come later. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Right now, the card for sister #1.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I got this cute birthday cake digistamp for <a href="http://blackbery-jelly.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Blackberry Jelly</a>. I used my Bic Permanent Markers to color it, and a white roller ball pen to add the "extra" markings. It is slightly difficult to see, but I added some pink Stickles in the middle of the lower heart. I used a good ol' fashion round, circle punch with a piece from my scrap stash to make the background circle. I also used my Tag Marker punch from Stampin' Up to create the tag that I put a Happy Birthday rub-on on. Again, this card is made using scraps. I feel so accomplished when I can use all scraps!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am using the card for these to challenges:</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I got this funny digistamp and tag line from <a href="http://www.whimsiedoodles.com/" target="_blank">Whimsie Doodles</a>, and since I have such a love/hate relationship with my crock pot, it seemed appropriate. The best part is now when I am in the hating my crock pot mood, I have the appropriate words to say.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I colored this card with good Old Fashion Crayola Colored Pencil. I was just wanted to color -- nothing fancy -- just color. I used Diamond Glaze to give the lid that realistic feel. Everything, yet again, was from the endless supply of scraps!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am going to use the card for a challenge over at <a href="http://littlemissmuffetchallenges.blogspot.com/2013/09/challenge-69-pink-and-grey.html" target="_blank">Little Miss Muffet Challenge</a><a href="http://littlemissmuffetchallenges.blogspot.com/2013/09/challenge-69-pink-and-grey.html" target="_blank">s</a> (Challenge #69: Pink and Gray). Also, <a href="http://sentimentalsundays.blogspot.com/2013/09/challenge-172-humorous.html" target="_blank">Sentimental Sunday</a> (Challenge #172: Humerus) has a challenge going on that I think this card is very fitting for. </div>

Hey, look out!! I am blogging two days in a row :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today, I have a card I made using only scraps. Someday, I need to post pictures from around my craft room. I am pretty proud of my scrap organization -- just sayin'! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, back to the card. I used a digistamp from one of my absolute favorite artist, <a href="http://melonheadzillustrating.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Melonheadz Illustrations</a>. The card was designed using a sketch from a challenge over at <a href="http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Catch the Bug Challenge Blog</a>, and it is monochromatic in the color pink, of course. That is because <a href="http://twistoffaithcards.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Twist of Faith Card Challenges</a> is currently sponsoring a monochromatic challenge, as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So here is what I have for you today.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Like I said before, it had been so long since I had posted, I had actually forgotten exactly how to do it. However, the itch for a challenge had been getting worse and worse, but I couldn't hardly remember the challenge sites I used to frequent. That didn't keep my finger from itching to put together a card,yet I didn't even want to spend time trying to find a challenge to design for. So, I threw caution to the wind, and just put something together. All with supplies sitting on my shelf, with digistamps that had been printed out more than a year ago, and with no specific idea in mind, this is what I came up with.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSzHE13ETWKhHKGh4CVUw0x8oOmyhOZhiilCP7sEg8THwUODT9bXzQ8lW24LZfIZmB9EOYQAbSLnOSx88HI9cXua7w5upjBFucfdt61uPFIXxLmPG749z5knxT3F2yTOB6E0diutDQBb5a/s1600/20130914_202318.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSzHE13ETWKhHKGh4CVUw0x8oOmyhOZhiilCP7sEg8THwUODT9bXzQ8lW24LZfIZmB9EOYQAbSLnOSx88HI9cXua7w5upjBFucfdt61uPFIXxLmPG749z5knxT3F2yTOB6E0diutDQBb5a/s320/20130914_202318.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
I am pretty sure I haven't put a card together this quickly in a long time! The best news is that it does go along with several challenges. So here is what I am entering it in</div>
<div align="center">
</div>

<div align="center">
A note...I think the image I used in this card is from Bugaboo Stamps, but like I said earlier, I had printed it over a year ago. Thus, I can't say anything for sure :)</div>

Here is my newest project, and probably something you will see lots of postings on. <a href="https://www.facebook.com/LetsHearItForTheBows" target="_blank">Let's Hear It for the Bows</a> is the business I recently started. Amelia's hair bow collection was nothing short of AMAZING even when we moved to Florida. These pictures were taken of Amelia's hair bow collection in December of 2011.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9Tk_YWm-vjZOb2q-ncNLuJhAEULz7yxwyOwtBH0r3kZqxxfP_5KpLET0SwM1g8HkZ1FhddTj9bcnX2gNzz765ZViUTCCmupgp6YYrUh0BngS-HxCUOg0lyirKZ7tRwSDB2QvMwSNNrJJX/s1600/704044_10200177073013313_467889228_o.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9Tk_YWm-vjZOb2q-ncNLuJhAEULz7yxwyOwtBH0r3kZqxxfP_5KpLET0SwM1g8HkZ1FhddTj9bcnX2gNzz765ZViUTCCmupgp6YYrUh0BngS-HxCUOg0lyirKZ7tRwSDB2QvMwSNNrJJX/s320/704044_10200177073013313_467889228_o.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The problem was that as she grew and got new clothes, the hair bow selection stayed the same. And, we couldn't have that, now could we? Bows must match our outfits! Also, to me hair bows serve a purpose, as well. I like it when Amelia has a hair bow in - the larger the better because I can spot the bow (and her) in a crowd a lot quicker than without anything to set her apart from all the others around her. Thus, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/LetsHearItForTheBows" target="_blank">Let's Hear It for the Bows</a> was born!</div>

Wow! I knew it had been awhile since I had posted on my blog, but I had no idea it had been this long. Of course, it all makes sense since my posting time used to be during daily nap time, and since we grew out of that with the start of school, everything else took priority. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Along, with the end of nap time, went my daily crafting time! Not that I don't have old projects to share with you, but the daily crafting time has taken a backseat to volunteering at school, cleaning, school activities, homework, and all the other responsibilities that are motherhood! The bottom line is...Boy, do I miss that creative time, the crafty challenges, and the smiles I get in return for handing out my goodies to others.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, my pledge is to get back to crafting, creating, and sharing!!!</div>

It is an amazing children's book by the name of "God Gave Us You". Absolutely, a great book for any parent to read to his/her child.</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Here is the information I posted on the Blogging for Books Site.</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-nliTJNTPSNf9JXSA3VxLX95oYBcMiiDP7AJizqzhIucWIS4cqXiSt0jpQraA_U8aCAUYBoqLSFSyEg18W9jhuWsihTbpvsYApQ1Ai1gWYATmv7d74JUgk4a-2nmJ2CNqoaU4U32vzB98/s1600/www.randomhouse.com.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-nliTJNTPSNf9JXSA3VxLX95oYBcMiiDP7AJizqzhIucWIS4cqXiSt0jpQraA_U8aCAUYBoqLSFSyEg18W9jhuWsihTbpvsYApQ1Ai1gWYATmv7d74JUgk4a-2nmJ2CNqoaU4U32vzB98/s1600/www.randomhouse.com.jpg" /></a></span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: small;">Wanting a child so badly, yet not being able to have one is a pain that cannot be understood unless one has lived through it. Luckily, our experience was relatively easy when referring to the world of infertility, but it was still a challenge. Add that experience to a deep personnel faith, and you can completely understand how reading this touching story to my children is a challenge for me. I am in tears within just a few pages of beginning the story (every time). I wouldn't say this story is my children's favorite, but it is completely enjoyable, well written, and easy to follow even for my two year old. I would recommend this book to any parent, and I think it makes a great shower gift!</span></div>Tiffany Did...http://www.blogger.com/profile/14666421456561605427noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862474266295257977.post-47717686388850286202011-06-28T06:55:00.000-04:002011-06-28T06:55:26.249-04:00I'm back, but something a bit different!<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">Good Morning Everyone!</div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">I am back on dry land and have been for awhile now, but I have been visiting my home town. Thus, I haven't gotten to craft. However with that said, I would like to tell you about another wonderful program I have become involved with. </div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">A few weeks before I left for my cruise I was introduced to the program <b>Blogging for Books</b>. It is an awesome site hosted by the Waterbrook Multnomah Publishing Group. Boggers can sign up for the program and if accepted are able to receive free books in return for honest reviews posted to the company's site and blogged about on the participant's personal site. Well, awesome for me I was accepted, and based off of my profile information, I was able to choice a book from a listing of five different ones. Plus, having time, I was able to read the book on my cruise! </div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">I picked the book <u>You Were Born for This: 7 Key to a Life of Predictable Miracles</u> by Bruce Wilkinson, who also wrote books such as the <u>Prayer of Jabez</u>, <u>The Dream Giver</u>, and <u>The Dream Giver</u> (my personal favorite).</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBT6ezUXx5vCw5NuFswBGRENR2yV56bTFw5IkdzHKKK78cARxwcpgEmjQHhiz6tcBugvEUS8Of98AefrAmlu1Rffpd22P1GKYY283V9QbHJd9Vx32_R7aNWEi-72hcfXJr-verWb4c_sVf/s1600/dynamic_image.aspx.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBT6ezUXx5vCw5NuFswBGRENR2yV56bTFw5IkdzHKKK78cARxwcpgEmjQHhiz6tcBugvEUS8Of98AefrAmlu1Rffpd22P1GKYY283V9QbHJd9Vx32_R7aNWEi-72hcfXJr-verWb4c_sVf/s1600/dynamic_image.aspx.jpg" /></a></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">The following is my review of the book as written for Waterbrook Multnomah Publishing Group.</div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"> </div><div style="text-align: center;"><div id="wmd-preview"><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I am not sure what to think of this book. Honestly, it took me a while to get into the book, and I started it over several times. Yes, I long to be used in God's miracles and by God to do his will, but I am not sure the book instruct me on how to do that in the way I thought that it would. There were times when statements were made that seemed to make me question what I thought I understood certain Bible passages to mean. Even after the first story with the waiter, I felt the story was a bit of a stretch of a miracle. To me it seemed like a bit a manipulation of a simple blessing the Holy Spirit was trying to nudge the author to do. I think the author seemed to make that situation more difficult and uncomfortable than needed to be.</div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Now with all that said, were there good points? Absolutely! The premise of the book is wonderful! Who would not want to see miracles worked around and through them? I would consider the book a successful read if only in making me think about and becoming more sensitive to being used by God. And the stories of everyday people (just like you and me) being used by God are wonderful (overall) and creates a desire in the reader to be used the same way. Thus, with that fact alone, I would suggest reading it if you need/want the reassurance of what it is like to be used by God.</div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Regardless, Bruce Wilkinson is an amazing author. However, if you are going to only read one of his books, I highly suggest <strong>The Dream Giver</strong>. </div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I received this book for free from Waterbrook Multnomah Publishing Group with the understanding I would read the book and give my honest opinion.</div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br />
</div><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Thanks for stopping in again. I can't wait to get crafting and challenging again soon. Go check out the </span><a href="http://waterbrookmultnomah.com/bloggingforbooks/" style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><b>Blogging for Books</b></a><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"> site. Tell them, I sent you :-)</span></div> </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Today's card is my second Father's Day card. Of course, the subject of the card is very important, so it was a must on the list of things to do. </span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">The card I have for you today is the Father's Day Card I made for my dad. Although he is not a huge golfer, he does putt around every once in awhile. Mostly he works really hard running a local grocery store, which he has been doing it since I was born. Thus, obviously, he is pretty good at it! So, besides my brother and I and his grandkids, he doesn't have too much time for much else, poor guy! Besides, who would want a Father's Day's card with a grocery store on it? </span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Thus, this is what I came up with</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihuxdcxiPE7x-llclMoJXSbY0lMZ5TRNgiFLapPf2ieyyBjDz7gPIQ1vj1aP5-Y5J9wXn1ve2w5cPKBJxmPGzJgvbI5W0FP-YCevELgCENywaBeokBJLxtF0p5hpur5N7FOeScIb95B3EM/s1600/100_1189.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihuxdcxiPE7x-llclMoJXSbY0lMZ5TRNgiFLapPf2ieyyBjDz7gPIQ1vj1aP5-Y5J9wXn1ve2w5cPKBJxmPGzJgvbI5W0FP-YCevELgCENywaBeokBJLxtF0p5hpur5N7FOeScIb95B3EM/s320/100_1189.JPG" width="240" /></a></span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">The image came from <a href="http://www.bugaboostamps.com/">Bugaboo Stamps</a>. </span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Being that it is a Father's Day Card, there are several challenges to enter</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />

</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">I have a very simple, but very important card to share with you today. As you all know by now, I will be getting on a cruise ship a week from today. The purpose of the cruise is to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. (10 years - can you believe it???) Anyway, here is the card I made for my husband.</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh10piGx4dL6TDBbWmNdoYse2_cij8gaScYuihcMx1wKGjzecQm4bjyh2a2cyL7rS9Fi5XePvWmIwM-wYi5Pl8Z42E_OaL7iTEdHQHtNBCKz7HUuNSU-JwL3Yu80NtCg3QmnVOcnKVufo9C/s1600/100_1188.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh10piGx4dL6TDBbWmNdoYse2_cij8gaScYuihcMx1wKGjzecQm4bjyh2a2cyL7rS9Fi5XePvWmIwM-wYi5Pl8Z42E_OaL7iTEdHQHtNBCKz7HUuNSU-JwL3Yu80NtCg3QmnVOcnKVufo9C/s320/100_1188.JPG" width="240" /></a></span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">The explanation that goes along with the card is</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">1. The gold color of the card itself matches the color of my bridesmaids' dresses.</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">2. Our wedding invitations had Cinderella and Prince Charming on them.</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Now, will he make the connection with either of those? Probably not! However, since we are HUGE Disney fans in this house, the princess/prince thing will still fit it. Also, can I just say how happy this card makes me solely because I only used my Expression (and my printer). It is the first cuts I have made with Songbird. Wonderful!</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">I am going to enter this card at </span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://cardsformen.blogspot.com/2011/05/challenge-11-no-paper.html">Cards for Men - #11 No Design Paper</a></span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Thanks for looking. I hope to have at least one more post for you before leaving for the cruise, but I won't promise anything. Packing myself and two children (for over a month) is a little difficult. The packing is not all the difficult; it is trying to think of everything my parents and in-laws need to know concerning my kids for the week my husband and I are gone. </span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"> Now, that is difficult!</span></span></div>Tiffany Did...http://www.blogger.com/profile/14666421456561605427noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862474266295257977.post-9655913762111688112011-06-01T05:53:00.003-04:002011-06-01T05:59:18.623-04:00Where Have I Been?<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Morning All!</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Let me just start by saying in 10 days, I will be getting on a huge floating mini-city (or so it feels like)! I can't wait! A vacation were I only have to be responsible for me. Well, I guess I will be responsible for Sean at times, too, as that is kind of what being a wife is about. </span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Well, of course, I am extremely busy getting ready for the trip, and since I am still a mom at the moment, all the craft time has been directed towards completing 12 of these</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxjb_MsTiUKZ8jVSmKcZBALGOvOYIJIC6OESxH8xwfGEqw2jmAdAtE9WlI0vMxAZgM4CM_Wc7CfDwq9k5CmtGk2wzOs_hqnR_Z0qGBe-T4D9lf47L27GK6iR1qF5Dw4CpDv9uZZEaOVaok/s1600/100_1185.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxjb_MsTiUKZ8jVSmKcZBALGOvOYIJIC6OESxH8xwfGEqw2jmAdAtE9WlI0vMxAZgM4CM_Wc7CfDwq9k5CmtGk2wzOs_hqnR_Z0qGBe-T4D9lf47L27GK6iR1qF5Dw4CpDv9uZZEaOVaok/s320/100_1185.JPG" width="240" /></a></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">They are actually altered Crystal Light Containers, and I made enough for all of Amelia's teachers and the two school secretaries because they do so much but not everyone thinks of them. Plus, I have decided I would much prefer my child been known to those around the school as the "Sweet Bow Girl" than because she gets into trouble. For those of you who don't know, Amelia wears a huge hair bow just about everyday to school. It is actually very good thing to be known as because it makes it real easy on the teachers, bus driver, or anyone else to spot whether or not she may be missing. Thus, bows are part of her everyday attire.</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Anyway, the purse tag/card on the front includes a little poem I wrote. It says</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><i>Purse-nally Thanking You!</i></span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><i>You are an essential part of my education,</i></span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><i>and I appreciate all you do!</i></span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><i>Here are some purse essentials</i></span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><i>just for you!</i></span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Not anything fancy, but the best I could come up with. When I came up with the idea of altering the containers, I was sure I could find a poem or such that I liked, but I just didn't. Not one that would work for all the different teachers, media center specialist, and administrative ladies, anyway. Yes, lucky for me, all of the people on my list were women. I wanted to do something besides just filling the containers with candy; thus that is what the finish project turned out to be. Inside each container is important purse items: pen/pencil, hanatizer (that is what we call hand sanitizer in my house), spf chapstick, gum, mints, and some chocolate, of course. Also, the containers for the two ladies in the office, the teacher who hosts the two after school clubs Amelia attends, her classroom Para, and her actual Kindergarten teacher include gift cards.</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br />
</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Believe it or not -- there are actually two challenges this week that I can enter these into.</span></div><div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"></div><h3 class="post-title entry-title" style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://sentimentalsundays.blogspot.com/2011/05/challenge-57-anything-but-card.html">Sentimental Sundays Challenge #57 - Anything but a Card!</a></span></h3><h3 class="post-title entry-title" style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/2011/05/challenge-me-monday-62.html">Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #62 - Remember This</a></span></h3><h3 class="post-title entry-title" style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"> </span></h3><h3 class="post-title entry-title" style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"> </span></h3><h3 class="post-title entry-title" style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large; font-weight: normal;">Thanks so much for visiting again! </span></h3>Tiffany Did...http://www.blogger.com/profile/14666421456561605427noreply@blogger.com8
