Hello, Influenster!

I know it has been years and years since I posted, and who knows how long it will between the next post.  However, this is definitely not just about crafts any more.  It really is about what Tiffany Did.  So with that said...I did discover Influenster!

I love this program.  I love trying new products I receive for free, giving my honest opinions, and telling others about them. Thus, it is perfect for me!

This is a picture of my Resolution Vox Box.  I haven't tried all the products yet, but I am working on it.  I have used the Orabrush. I liked it because you never really give much thought to a product specifically designed for your tongue.  But, why not, right? I mean, we all know to brush our tongues, so why not clean it even more.  I am slightly concerned about the hygiene portion of keeping the brush itself clean, so I may need to do more research into that. I guess, although, it may be silly, to me the toothpaste kind of helps to keep the toothbrush clean.  However, you don't have that with the Orabrush.

Like I mentioned, I haven't tried all my products yet, but I will keep you posted as I do.  Here is my referral link if you are interested in signing up for Influenster yourself www.influenster.com/r/1929010

Hogs and Kisses, Valentine!!

Seriously, I LOVE volunteering at my children's school, but sometimes I feel like I am way more busy than I would be if I had a paying job.  The funny thing is that I have projects for school right now that involve being crafty, but it just doesn't feel the same.  I need some free craft time; not to mention I have bow orders waiting to be completed.  The problem is that there is only one table I work off of in my craft room since it also doubles as a guest room, which means one project must be completed before the next one is started.
Anyway, back to the reason we are here!!
Here is actually one project that I did get a chance to complete.

I know the picture is horrible!!  My phone did this major update and now my picture settings are completely out of sorts.  Not really sure where the changes were made at, so I have not been able to correct the issue yet.

Anyway, this card is my Design Team Card for Melonheadz Friends' Valentine Challenge.  This cute piggy was an old digistamp from Nikki over at Melonheadz that I have had for a very long time.  I was just looking or something other than the traditional heart/lovey Valentine.  Plus, I am so cheesy!  I love to come up with play on words.  Of course, this saying was not my own, but it works nonetheless!  The other bonus is that, again, all the supplies came from my scrap drawers.  For example, I know the heart vellum is at least six years old because it is left over from when I made wedding announcements for my brother and his wife.  Bonus, I printed the saying out on my new printer!!  It arrived Wednesday, this past week, and Sean hooked it right up for me!  Let me just say, I am loving this whole wireless printing feature!!  It is not even that I am printing from places all over the house; no, I am sitting right next to my printer.  I just get overwhelmed with clutter (especially in my craft space), so one less wire hanging down, is FABULOUS!!

Okay, enough rambling for today.  I promise I am going to try to post some of the 100th Day of School projects I completed to take with us to school today.
Plus, I have a few more things waiting to make an appearance here on my blog!
Thanks for stopping in :)

WINTER FUN CHALLENGE

Hello!!

Today, I am going to share the card I made for the new challenge over at Melonheaz Friends.
I hope you will pop over and join the challenge and look at the great things the newest members of the design team came up with.

I am actually very impressed with the way this turned out because everything about this card was found in my stash.  After eight or so years, my printer decided to stop working.  Luckily, I had printed this cute little guy at some point as to not waste space while printing other digistamps.  All the supplies were found in my scraps pile; all out of the black drawer at that.   Of course, since the printer has stopped, I turned to my sticker stash for a sentiment to add this card.

Okay, now I am off to spend some time researching new printers!!!

Thanks for stopping by :0)

One little baby....

Hello Everyone!
I always start by saying I know it has been awhile...
SO, let me just tell you why it has been awhile.  It is hard to craft when my craft table is filled with ribbon, hair clips, bottle caps, and anything else that goes into making my hair bows.  That has been what has been keeping me busy.  I did a craft show this past Saturday, and I have one again this Saturday.  Then I WILL BE paper crafting.  However, until then here is the card I have to share with you to go along with the new challenge starting over at the Melonheadz Friends blog.

This week's challenge is all about Christmas.  Be sure to go check it out!!
Thanks for stopping by.

Big News!!!

Good Morning All!!

I know it has been awhile yet again since I have posted anything.  It is amazing to me how much time I think I am going to have for crafting, but it never works out that way.  I can't complain because I love the time I get to spend volunteering at the kid's school.  Plus, another major time consumer right now has been my bows.  I have had LOTS order for them recently.  Plus, I am getting ready to do another craft show.  I did two events a few weeks back and sold out of all my bows except for about five, and I started with about 60 or so.  Not too shabby :)

Anyway, onto my big news....

I am SOOOOO excited!  I can't even tell you.  Not to mention, she is ABSOLUTELY one of my most favorite digistamp creators!

So here is my first card as a new design team member.

This is a free digi I got a few years back, but I thought it would be perfect for this time of the year and the Fall Colors Challenge.

Pop over and take a shot at the challenge!
Thanks for sharing in my excitement :)

Put a Bow on It!

Not sure if I have every shared that "Put a Bow on It!" was what I originally planned to name my bow business, but when I searched Facebook in order to create my page, I realized that there were several versions of that already in use.  Thus, I came up with "Let's Hear It for the Bows!"  I do tend to get a lot of encouraging compliments on my name, though, so I think it turned out the way it was supposed to.

Today, I have a few recent special order bows to share with you.  These all start with 1.5" gross grain ribbon as the base.  It is my favorite, and in my opinion the easiest to work with.  It allows me to make several different sizes of bows, which is best since not everyone likes the huge bows Amelia tends to wear.

I love using buttons as a way to fancy up the centers of my bows.  Gives it just a little something else.  Another thing I found today, was a multi-crafting blog that is having a challenge requiring the use of buttons.  Not sure, if hair bows are exactly what they had in mind, but I thought I would give it a shot anyway.  The blog is Ruby's Rainbow and it is challenge #65.

Also, thanks for looking and here is the link to my Facebook.  Come look around a bit!
